I am looking to broaden my knowledge of Computer games from the testing point of view. Can any one please provide me with information on how to test computer games I am looking for information on usability, performance point of view rather than functionality point of view.Yes, I understand that my question is quite broad. But as I said I want to educate myself about game testing, so I would appreciate some reading materials, web address as well.

i'm not sure if it's for all games but i'm specifically wondering about the sims three.can you install it on more than one computer?like you know how there's a serial number on the game i think there was on the sims two.. ?does it work more than once?if not, can i install it on a computer, then uninstall, then reinstall on a different computer?

Problem with computer games not running?
My computer is an HP w1907v Pavillion Slimline i'm awful with computers, sorry and runs on Windows Vista. I am having a problem with whenever I insert a computer game disc The Sims for example , there is no option to install or setup the game or anything. Nothing happens. Whenever I go to 'My Computer' and click on the disc drive it just says 'Insert disc'. It can't seem to register a disc. Can anyone please help? I'd really appreciate it.

Having problems with starting computer games on windows 7?
Hi. I recently installed windows 7 and have had little to no problems until now. I, for some reason, cannot play any of my games. They worked fine with xp but now when I click on the icon for the game, the computer just starts to " think" for about 10 seconds but then stops without any results happening. The game i'm trying installs perfectly, but it doesent let me access the game after that. The game I'm trying is Stronghold Legands but applies to all games Is they're anyone who knows whats going on?its really annoying. Thanks in advance.

A computer gaming graphics question.?
I've played this computer game, Heroes of Newarth to be exact for a while now. When i started, there was no lag at all not talking about internet , I can see the game characters move perfectly and they flowed smoothly. However, 2 months in, it just starts lagging sometimes, not the internet , the characters just seem to be delayed a bit. Is it my graphics card or do i have too many stuff on my comp and i need to get rid of some?

There used to be this computer game on my grandparents computer.you used to have to go around like eating apples, & you had to try and stay away from these rocks because they could squish you. i know you could change it so instead of eating apples, you could eat like pumpkins and stuff. i really wanna play it again but i cant think of the name.please help and each level got harder and harder.

Computer games i could play now run slow?
I have had my computer for about 4 years now and i recently just installed a graphics card to play stalker shadow of chernobyl and it ran perfectly with no slow downs and i then uninstalled stalker about 3 months ago and decided to play it again today except this time it is much slower and the frame rate drops drastically from time to time. any help on returning my computer to its previous game playing ability?

My Computer Game won't load anymore..?
Okay so the problem's really weird. In the morning, I was able to go on it just fine, now it will load a quarter of the way through and basically freeze though it still plays the music and I've waited at least 15 minutes for it to load and it hasn't. It's a down loadable game off the internet that I've had on my computer for a little over a year so I don't think the game is the problem because I've used it many times before and it's been fine. Also, it's only a certain character that won't load. Like different save slots for some of you who don't know I've created a new character and it loaded just fine, but when I try to log onto my real one it won't work, but I NEED to get onto that one So if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it it'd be much appreciated. I've tried restarting it, leaving it off for a day, and taking out the battery but still nothing works > .< Thank you again for the help
