How do i adjust page size on notebook computers so I can view the whole page?
As an example, a game of literati has room for chat and lists who is in the room. This bottom part of the page is hidden. Minimizing and maximizing window doesn't help, and pulling the edge down to fill screen still doesn't work. The notebook screen seems to be too short. What will correct or help this?

I am looking to buy a new thin and light notebook, and have been especially fond of the Acer Timeline series because they are fantastically slim one inch thick ...but I am concerned about the processing power.I do not need incredible performance, just something that will meet these needs Internet Word processing Coding Compiling Media playback HD Video, and music Light photo editing Cropping, touch ups, nothing fancy. Light gaming WoW, Age of Empires if anyone knows of a series or line of notebooks any brand that are around an inch thick, with a 13 15 inch screen, preferably an optical drive, and that can meet these needs please let me know

How many notebook computers can run off of one router in a home?
My friend adopted 7 children and is giving them all notebook computers for xmas gift I would like to know the most optimum way to get them all on the internet. There will be a router about 20ft from where the computer is but perhaps there is a more optimum way to do this. Perhaps there is something to purchase to make this idea better? Any help is great I promise to award the 10 points and not let this go to a vote.....

What is the best way to care for my new notebook computer?
I just got a notebook, and I am wondering what the best way to maintain it is. I know about not eating or drinking while I am using it, I am curious the best way to clean the screen. We were advised by Best Buy that we may want to purchase a external hard drive and put everything on that to minimize the risk of getting a virus, and I was wondering if it really would do the trick. From my understanding of what he said, if we did get a virus and all our stuff was on the external hard drive, the virus would have no where to go and not really be a big deal. Is this true? And also is it possible for the virus to get into the external hard drive and ruin everything on there, as well as the hard drive itself? Lastly, how can I prolong the life of the battery?

My notebook computer is a Sony Model No. VGN-240E, the answer I am looking for is to restore my computer?
I want to restore it back to factory settings but the drive or keyboard is not functioning and I am locked out of the Windows Vista OS from a password the keyboard is not working the drive and configuration seems to work fine but it get this message error will not continue with a floppy disk drive. I may have installed 32 bit drivers on a 64 bit machine but there is no way of telling of what the computer did. I went to the Sony website for full system recovery and accessing the password. But the keyboard is not functioning when it enters into OS but it works fine in pre installation system recovery advanced option. I am thinking my car keys made contact with the computer after it dropped. What are your options? I am thinking I should take it to repair.

My operating system crashed and when I talked to Dell tech support they told me I had to re install Windows XP but I wanted to install 7 instead. What options do I have to get online with a notebook computer while traveling in a car? I am looking at buying a notebook computer and I would like to use it to get online when I am out of town while traveling in a car or up at our cottage. Wi Fi isn't an option. I have used my Blackberry as a modem before and I was less than impressed with it. Are there any other alternatives? Although I haven't decided on a specific brand or model of notebook, I believe the computer that I will be purchasing will come with a wireless network card. If is doesn't and I have to get a wireless card from one of the cell phone providers, is the coverage and the signal from the card only as good as the coverage and the signal that I would get on my cell phone at that time?Thanks in advance
