Can you explain to me how to install speech recognition on my Microsoft Office XP Home computer?
My computer has Microsoft Office XP and I was trying to look for speech recognition but it does not have it. I tried looking for answers to my problem. One of the answers told me to go to change or remove programs and to click on Microsoft Windows XP and click on change. When I tried to look for Microsoft Windows XP on the change or remove programs list it was not there. So if you know how to add speech recognition using change or remove programs please tell me why Microsoft Office XP will not appear on the change or remove programs list or if you have another way of installing speech recognition for Microsoft Office XP Home please tell me.

Ok every time I log on into my computer, it pops up. I don't really use it a lot anymore. SO I want it to only pop up when I click on it, not every time I log on. How do I stop it?

Windows 7 speech recognition problem?
I have done the tutorialI open speech recognition and the box comes up, then i'll say " start listening" and nothing will happen, but about ten seconds later it says " What was that?" so il click the listen button, but then it takes about 30 seconds to start. My computer is brand new, 3 gb of ram and a good mic. I don't know why speech recognition is fucking up. Please help.

i have an account on the army e learning skill port site and i got a couple of rosetta stone languages to study...but every time i try and activate the voice recognition option it just gives me the " an error occurred. Speech recognition will be disable for this session" any pointers or does the skill port version just not have it?

Hi I was wondering how to turn your Speech Recognition off?
I have windows vista, every time I restart my PC the speech recognition comes on. How do you turn it off completely so it wont come on when you turn your computer on?
